Wales Seed Hub, a collective of individual growers who come together to co-operatively market and sell our seed. We are unique in that we only sell open pollinated seed that is produced in Wales to agroecological standards. We do not buy in seed for resale; all the seed we sell is grown by our members here in Wales, ensuring it is adapted to, and hence grows well in the local climate.  We try and grow varieties that are not widely available elsewhere, and are always on the lookout for those with a Welsh history that we can grow on and preserve for future generations. Watch the video above to learn more and meet some of our growers!

Our seed is sold online, and in person at various ‘seedy’ events we attend during the year. For more information on the Wales Seed Hub, and our members, check us on our website.

Our full catalogue, with additional information on each of our varieties is available to view on our website, and our new seed list is published at the  beginning of the year ready for you to order your seeds. As the season progresses, we normally sell out of many of our most popular seeds, so  If you don’t want to miss out next year, you can sign up to our mailing list to receive notification of our new catalogue as soon as it’s available.

The Wales Seed Hub is being supported by the Gaia Foundation’s UK Seed Sovereignty Programme. The growers in our hub have been through the UK Seed Sovereignty Programme’s intermediate seed production training and are part of the Wales Seed Network.  www.seedsovereignty.info/

We are licenced to sell seed and issue plant passports. Reg number: 7710.

Sorry, but we can only post seed within Wales, England and Scotland.

If you are interested in growing and selling seeds with us then please see our membership page for further information.

The Wales Seed Hub produces seed grown on Welsh farms using agroecological practices. Our seed is open pollinated and carefully selected. We try to grow varieties that are not widely available elsewhere and grow well in the Welsh climate.
