8+ Acres of horticultural glasshouse located in the Lee Valley, Essex
In 1968, Nonno Montalbano travelled to the UK from Sicily, with a passion for growing and the taste of fresh flavours he started a nursery to provide the local stores with fresh cucumbers.
Some 53 years on, the nursery is in it’s third generation remaining within the same Montalbano family. They are experts in cucumbers and specifically snack cucumbers, they are the ideal nutritious and hydrating transportable snack for 1-100 year olds.
They are proud to be the UK’s largest supplier of snack cucumbers to British Supermarkets.
Snack cucumbers aren’t a one trick pony!
The crisp, crunchy and deliciously fresh fruit is ideal for a number of recipes. Simply dip them in hummus, peanut butter, cream cheese or hoisin sauce or take a look here at some cucumber inspiration for snack or meal times.
