A semi-evergreen, vigorous twining climber with bright green oval leaves, strongly veined in contrasting yellow, almost like yellow netting. Bright white flowers with a beautiful fragrance appear in summer, followed by shiny berries in autumn.
Perfect for climbing along a trellis, or to take full advantage of the scent, plant near an entrance or doorway. It can also be used as a groundcover, especially useful for stabilising slopes and banks. Highly prized by gardeners due to its striking foliage and strong fragrance when in flower.
